I am now officially one of Lil' Johnny Howard's "battlers."

This morning, I drove between three petrol stations to save 0.6 cents/litre on $20 petrol (for those of you not in Australia, currently $AUD20 is the equivalent of 1 UK peanut). I have reached a new low.

A couple of days ago I updated about the pear-shaped-ness of my PhD. It's still in that weird conformation. The difference is that two days ago I was worried about it. Currently I'm not giving a flying fuck about it. That isn't good. Apathy is something I really can't afford right now, but I suppose apathy isn't something that you can just pull yourself out of easily. If it was, more people would give a fuck about various things. This is getting dangerously political so I'm just going to post a meme.
