The Homicidal Urges

I did not go into the lab. I plan to keep it that way until tomorrow.

On Saturday I helped in the moving of the belongings of mc_shamo and mstakenidentity from their old abode to their new one.

And, we finally got to do something that we had been putting off for while - we (I, mc_shamo, ragedc and _audhumla_) smashed a piece of the past to shit with a sledgehammer and a crowbar. It was extremely satisfying. Post pics soon, Seamus and Daniel!

This morning was the 4th birthday celebration of Mischa (Eva's nephew) - and I'm becoming more enamoured of the kid. As much as I almost hate to admit it - he's a lovely kid.

Then, I walked the dog in the park. I can't imagine life without her now.

And now, we're going to the city to indulge in our capitalistic urges. Mwah.

Love, friends, family, and not too many problems on the horizon. Not to mention that the millstone around my neck has been well and truly removed.

Life's good. :D

On the other hand, Florence is a remarkable place.

...but Barcelona was much, much better. I want to live in that place. You can smoke anywhere, grog is cheap, the nightlife is cool, and you don't get up 'till noon! What a lifestyle...

I'm tired. I'm hungry. I'm cranky as hell.

But at least I got stuff done today. Even with a fair amount of procrastination, I managed to get a real meaty chunk of this infernal chapter done. And funnily enough, it's not boring me to tears yet. Although I figure all these thesis-related posts are boring all of you to tears, but meh. It's my WhineJournal^TM, so get knotted, the lot of you. :P

So. Off home, to eat dinner, read the paper, and to have a well-deserved Victory Sleep^TM.
